Tours, demonstrations focus on unique sights and flavors

For those not up to striking out on their own, RIMS makes sightseeing easy with a number of organized tours designed to immerse conference attendees in the culture of the Crescent City.

Tour Louisiana swamps and bayous on the Airboat Adventures outing, offered from 1:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, April 29, and Wednesday, May 2.

Those who prefer taking in the sights on foot may enjoy Creole Promenade or Architectural Renaissance, walking tours of historical New Orleans buildings and residences that are offered from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. on Monday, April 30, and 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesday, May 1, respectively.

Foodies won't want to miss the Sights, Sounds, Savors cooking demonstration and a chance to sample Cajun and Creole dishes on Thursday, May 3, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
