NORTH HAVEN, Conn.Anthem Blue Cross & Blue Shield of Connecticut has launched a benefits program designed to comprehensively address preventive care, health improvement and care coordination.
The health insurer said the program, 360f Health, integrates all health management programs and tools into a centralized, consumer-friendly resource that helps members navigate the health care system, use their benefits, and gain access to comprehensive and appropriate care.
A key future component will be MyHealth Record, an online personal health record owned and managed by Anthem members, expected to be available by midyear. MyHealth Record is automatically populated by member-provided information and claims data received by WellPoint Inc., Anthem's parent company. Members can track claims online and share their health histories with doctors to help improve their quality of care.
Anthem members can gain access to the benefits of the program by phone, e-mail and a personalized Web site.
In addition to the health care information available through the 360f Health platform, Anthem members can get online access to wellness and lifestyle programs, discounts on health-related products and alternative medicine therapies, and access to Anthem associates who can provide health-related information in English or Spanish.
