SWERMA joins IRM in risk qualification venture

LONDON—The Institute of Risk Management has entered into a joint venture with the Swedish Risk Management Association to promote the IRM's Certificate in Risk Management qualification.

The London-based IRM said the certificate would be available to members of SWERMA, the Swedish association, at a special discount rate.

"Education is one of the key activity areas we are focusing on and we are very pleased indeed to have come this far. We are establishing a solid working relationship with IRM that will enable us to offer to our members an education package leading to a Certificate in Risk Management," said Ulf Jonsson, chairman of SWERMA, in a statement.
