Marsh names three COOs

NEW YORK--Marsh Inc. has named chief operating officers for three of its core business units, the New York-based brokerage said Monday.

Patricia Hagemann, former chief financial officer of Marsh's North America operations, has been named COO of the Americas, while David Lessing, a former managing director at Merrill Lynch, has joined Marsh as COO of its U.S. middle market segment. In addition, Philip Petronis, former executive vp and CFO of Guy Carpenter, was named COO of Global Products and Services Management.

The appointments are newly created positions at Marsh.
