President-CEO for ACE Canada named

TORONTO--Karen Barkley has been appointed president and chief executive officer of Toronto-based ACE Canada.

Ms. Barkley, who previously held the position of chief operations officer for ACE INA Insurance, will be responsible for managing ACE's operations in Canada. In her new role, she will report to John Lupica, president and CEO of ACE USA.

Ms. Barkley joined ACE in 1992 in the risk management unit and has held several senior management positions within ACE Canada, ACE said in a statement Monday.
