LONDON - Aon Re Global, a subsidiary of Chicago-based Aon Corp., has madeexecutive appointments to its newly formed Europe-Middle East-Africa unit and in the United Kingdom, the company announced Wednesday.
Aon Re Global's European operations have been combined with those in Israel,Bahrain and South Africa to form Aon Re Global-EMEA.
Vincent Redier, head of Aon France, will now also serve as chairman of AonRe Global-EMEA; Richard Posgate, formerly Aon Re Global's chiefadministrative officer, will now serve as president and chief executiveofficer of the new EMEA unit; Holger Gaserow, head of reinsurance operationsin Germany, Austria and the Nordic countries, will now also serve as deputychairman of Aon Re Global-EMEA; Michel Hideux has been named chief executiveofficer of Aon Re France.
In the United Kingdom, Charlie Cantlay was named chairman of Aon ReGlobal-U.K., having previously served as deputy chairman; David Ledger, whopreviously headed the International division of Aon Re Global-U.K., hasbecome chief executive officer; Alastair Speare-Cole, who has led the Directand Re Services areas, has assumed the broader role of chief operatingofficer at Aon Re Global-U.K.
