Hiscox buys Dutch fine art insurer

LONDON—Hiscox Ltd. has bought the renewal rights of Dutch commercial fine art insurer Eriks Assuradeuren B.V.

The U.K. arm of Bermuda-based Hiscox said in a statement that it expected its art and private clients business in the Netherlands to grow by more than 25% following the acquisition.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Amsterdam-based Eriks Assuradeuren specializes in insurance for museums, galleries and company collections.
