United America appoints leaders

GEORGE TOWN, Grand Cayman--United America Indemnity Ltd. has appointed Saul A. Fox as its chief executive officer and named Robert M. Fishman as CEO and president of United America Insurance Group.

Bala Cynwyd, Pa.-based United America Insurance Group is the core U.S. insurance operation of United America Indemnity, which is based in George Town, Grand Cayman, and provides excess and surplus lines and specialty property casualty insurance and reinsurance products on an admitted and nonadmitted basis.

Mr. Fox previously was chairman of United America Indemnity's board of directors, while Mr. Fishman CEO of United America Indemnity.

Both appointments are effective immediately, UAI said in a statement Thursday.
