Health care executive to head Mercer division

NEW YORK--Robert Yungk will join Mercer Human Resource Consulting as president and global head of Mercer Health & Benefits.

He will assume his job Feb. 26 and succeed Bernard Morency, who retired last year after more than 30 years of service with New York-based Mercer.

Mr. Yungk joins Mercer from Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare Corp., where he had served as senior vp-managed care since 2003.

Upon joining Mercer, he also will resign two other positions he currently holds: chairman and president of TCI Inc., a large independent Medicare Advantage health plan, and board member of Peoples Health Network.
