Aon names new CEO of CICA unit

CHICAGO--Aon Corp. on Friday said Doug Wendt will succeed Richard Ravin as chief executive officer of Combined Insurance Co. of America.

The transition will occur July 1. Mr. Ravin, however, will remain in his role as chairman of CICA through 2007, according to Aon.

Mr. Wendt currently serves as CICA's president and chief operating officer.

Aon's CICA and Combined Life Insurance Co. of New York provide a range of products, including supplemental accident, disability, health and life insurance, Aon said in a statement.
