PARIS— Aon France, a unit of Aon Corp., Wednesday announced a restructuring plan that would close several offices and export several dozen jobs to Romania.

The broker said it plans to transfer some branch operations in France in an effort to strengthen branches in Marseille and Angouleme. With 1,330 employees, the subsidiary had estimated 2006 net profits of about €30 million.

Aon France said Wednesday that "The measures will lead to about 55 transfers and 30 lay-offs in France." It declined to confirm specific branches involved.
