W. Marston Becker chairman and chief executive officer. Mr. Becker, who previously served as chairman and CEO of Trenwick Group Ltd., had been acting chairman and CEO after Max Re founder Robert J. Cooney stepped down in October.

Joseph J. Beneducci has been named president and CEO of Novato, Calif.-based Fireman's Fund Insurance Co., succeeding

Charles Kavitsky, who was named president of Allianz America with responsibility for Fireman's Fund and Allianz Life Insurance Co. of North America. Mr. Beneducci previously was president and chief operating officer of Fireman's Fund.

Chicago-based Aon Corp. has named

Roelof Hendriks to the new position of CEO of the company's Europe, Middle East and Africa operations. Mr. Hendriks previously was vice chairman of Aon Holdings, the Rotterdam, Netherlands-based regional headquarters for the Europe, Middle East, Africa and Asia Pacific areas before Asia Pacific operations were moved to a separate unit reporting directly to Aon's headquarters in Chicago.

Dieter Wemmer has been named chief financial officer of Switzerland-based Zurich Financial Services A.G. effective March 1. Mr. Wemmer, currently chief executive of Zurich Financial's European general insurance unit, will succeed

Patrick O'Sullivan, who has been named chief growth officer.

Craig E. Eisenacher has been named executive vp and CFO of Hamilton, Bermuda-based Everest Re Group Ltd. He succeeds Stephen L. Limauro, who retired. Mr. Eisenacher previously was senior vp and CFO of Bristol West Holdings Inc.

Willis Re Chairman

Grahame Millwater has been appointed to the additional post of COO of London-based Willis Group Holdings Ltd. The post previously was shared by Tom Colraine, who is leaving Willis, and

Richard Bucknall, who is taking on Mr. Colraine's previous post of CEO of Willis Ltd. while remaining a vice chairman of the group.

Zurich-based Swiss Reinsurance Co. has named

George Quinn CFO, succeeding Ann Godbehere, who left the company. Mr. Quinn previously was regional CFO for Swiss Re Americas.

Andrew R. McCulloch has been named president of the Northwest region for Oakland, Calif.-based Kaiser Foundation Health Plan Inc. and Kaiser Foundation Hospitals. Before joining Kaiser, he was president and CEO of Community Mercy Health Partners.

Transamerica Reinsurance has named

Christian Mounis president of Transamerica Reinsurance Europe. Mr. Mounis, who will be based in Paris, previously was an executive vp for SCOR Vie.

John P. Graham has been named CFO of Chicago-based Hub International Ltd. He succeeds

Dennis J. Pauls, who was named president and CEO of the company's Toronto-based Hub Ontario regional operation. Mr. Graham most recently was senior vp finance, treasurer and assistant secretary at Career Education Corp.

Martin South has been named to the newly created position of CEO of Marsh Inc.'s U.K. operations. Mr. South previously was CEO of international business at Zurich Financial Services in London.

Chicago-based Mesirow Financial Services Inc. has named

Richard S. Price to the newly created position of president and chief operating officer. Previously, Mr. Price was vice chairman of the firm and president of the insurance services division.

ACE Ltd. has appointed

Jorge Luis Cazar as president and CEO of ACE Latin America in Miami. Mr. Cazar, who will begin his new assignment during this year's first quarter, has been senior vp of accident and health for ACE Asia Pacific in Singapore.

Seattle-based Zynchros Inc., a developer of formulary management strategies, has promoted

Robert Pinkerton to president and COO. Previously, he was chief marketing officer.

Springfield, Mass.-based MassMutual Financial Group has appointed

Marie Augsberger to the newly created position of COO of its Retirement Services Division. Ms. Augsberger most recently was head of customer service and operations for ING U.S. Retirement Services.

CIGNA HealthCare has named

Charles Pitts president and general manager of the company's operations in North Carolina and South Carolina. Mr. Pitts, who will be based in Charlotte, N.C., formerly was president and CEO for UnitedHealthcare Inc. in the Carolinas.

George Town, Cayman Islands-based United America Indemnity Ltd. has named

Robert M. Fishman CEO and director. Previously, he was president and CEO of ARAG North America Inc.

Cathy L. McKeon has joined Kemark Financial Services Inc., a program administration company for financial service institutions, as CEO. Before joining Kemark, she was a principal at PricewaterhouseCoopers L.L.P.

New York-based Guy Carpenter & Co. Inc. has named

Nick Gralton as head of U.S. wholesale casualty in London. Previously, he was head of R.K. Carvill & Co.'s casualty specialty division.

Eric Johnson has been named senior vp in the Minneapolis office. He most recently was a senior vp at Willis Re Inc.

Cranford, N.J.-based Banc of America Corporate Insurance Agency L.L.C. has expanded its senior management team and added staff in the Northeast.

In the Cranford office, three new senior-level executives were named:

Joseph Mauro, former senior managing director of Frank Crystal & Co., was named sales leader.
Christopher Holland, former manager of client services at Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc., joined BACIA as client services manager for the property/casualty division.
James Stanilious, former head of risk management services at Marsh, was named director of risk management services for the property/casualty division.

In the new Hartford, Conn., office:

Steven Schloss, former worldwide partner with Mercer Health & Benefits, was named employee benefits division practice leader for New England.
Salvatore Dominello, former head of the Hartford office of Willis Group Holdings Ltd., was named BACIA's senior client manager and will lead the employee benefits division service team in Connecticut.

And in Boston:

Christopher Scontras, who was area president of Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. of New England, was named property/casualty division practice leader for New England.

Willis Group Holdings Ltd. has appointed

Steven E. Regnault as executive vp and regional partner for Willis of New York Inc. Before joining Willis, he was New York branch manager for Wachovia Insurance Services Inc.

Hilb Rogal & Hobbs Co. has named

Dwight Horner as managing director of property and casualty for Wisconsin. Mr. Horner, who will be based in Milwaukee, previously was president of Risk Solutions Inc., a consulting firm he owned. HRH also acquired certain segments of that business.

Wachovia Insurance Services Inc. has named

Robert N. Vlachos Jr. as senior vp and national property practice leader in the New York office. He joins Wachovia from Marsh & McLennan Cos. Inc., where he served as transaction specialist in the property international practice.

The AVRECO unit of The Park Group, a wholesale insurance brokerage in Chicago, has named

Sarah Dore as senior vp in the health care department. Previously, she was an independent insurance consultant.

Boston-based William Gallagher Associates has named

Michael J. Andersen as principal. Before his promotion, he was an executive vp.

Johnston, R.I.-based Factory Mutual Insurance Co. has named

Rod Fisher as senior vp and manager of its central division. Formerly, he was vp and manager of FM Global's Los Angeles operations. He succeeds Kevin Lavin, who retired.

BMS Vision Reinsurance Intermediaries Inc. has named

Wayne Pyrtle as senior vp in Burlington, N.C. Previously, he was senior vp at Axiom Intermediaries.

Parsippany, N.J.-based GAB Robins North America Inc. has named

Dean Harring as executive vp and chief claims officer for North American operations. Previously, he owned Claim Diagnostics, a consulting firm specializing in property/casualty insurance claims operations.

Michael Pennell has joined the Honolulu office of Buck Consultants L.L.C. as director in the retirement practice. Previously, he was an independent actuarial consultant.

Dallas-based MarketScout has named

Tina Harris as property underwriting manager. Before joining the online insurance exchange, she was a senior underwriter with XL Insurance Group.
