Catlin names U.S. CFO

HAMILTON, Bermuda--Bermuda-based Catlin Group Ltd. has named Peter Presperin as chief financial officer of Catlin U.S., Catlin's Atlanta-based underwriting platform in the United States.

Mr. Presperin will report to Catlin U.S. President and Chief Executive Officer Richard Banas, according to the company.

Mr. Presperin served most recently as CFO of discontinued operations for Swiss insurer Zurich Financial Services Group. He previously was executive vp and chief financial officer of Novato, Calif.-based Fireman's Fund Insurance Co.
