Myers, vp of product management at High Point Safety & Insurance Management Corp., is the new president of the Arlington, Va.-based Casualty Actuarial Society, succeeding Paul Braithwaite, managing director at Navigant Consulting. Christopher S. Carlson, a consultant for Pinnacle Actuarial Resources, was selected as president-elect.

Robert Brack has joined ACE Ltd. as senior vp of claims services for ACE Overseas General in Philadelphia. Before joining ACE, he was a senior manager with Accenture.
Springfield, Mass.-based Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Co. has named Michael R. Fanning senior vp and COO for the U.S. Insurance Group. Previously, he was a vp of new individual business at MetLife Inc.
XL Capital Ltd. in Hamilton, Bermuda, has named Michael E. Mathisen as global treasurer. Previously, he was director of worldwide tax. Replacing Mr. Mathisen in that position will be Mervyn Skeet, who previously was director of taxes-Europe.
