BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

PEMBROKE, BermudaHarbor Point Ltd., the Pembroke, Bermuda-based reinsurer, has opened Harbor Point Re U.K. in London.

The London office, based in the Lloyd's of London building at 1 Lime Street, is a representative office of Harbor Point subsidiary Harbor Point Re Ltd.

The company has appointed Trevor G. Carvey to lead the move into the London market and as managing director of the London office. Previously he was chief underwriter, marine and energy for Arch Reinsurance Ltd.

Andrew Cook, president and chief finance officer of Harbour Point Re said: "Daily access to the London reinsurance market will further enhance our company's development as a leading property/casualty reinsurance company."
