Harbor Point opens London office

PEMBROKE, Bermuda—Harbor Point Ltd., the Pembroke, Bermuda-based reinsurer, has opened Harbor Point Re U.K. in London.

The London office, based in the Lloyd's of London building at 1 Lime Street, is a representative office of Harbor Point subsidiary Harbor Point Re Ltd.

The company has appointed Trevor G. Carvey to lead the move into the London market and as managing director of the London office. Previously he was chief underwriter, marine and energy for Arch Reinsurance Ltd.
