Kiln updates syndicate forecasts
Posted On: Nov. 24, 2006 12:00 AM CSTLONDON Kiln P.L.C. has updated forecasts for the Lloyd's of London syndicates managed by its R.J. Kiln & Co. Ltd. managing agency.
Kiln said that it expected composite syndicate 510 to record a loss of between 6.6% and 11.6% of its £545 million (€805 million) capacity for the 2005 year of account.
The company said its catastrophe syndicate 557 would probably produce a loss of between 20.1% and 25.1% of its £48 million (€70 million) capacity for 2005.
Kiln's non-marine syndicate 807 is expected to record a loss of between 6.3% and 11.3% of its £100 million (€147 million) capacity for 2005, while life syndicate 308 is expected to produce a 6% to 11% return on its £10 million (€14 million) of capacity for 2005.
