BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

SIRM forum moves to the spring

[PFÄFFIKON, Switzerland]The Swiss Association of Insurance & Risk Managers will break with tradition when it meets for its next annual SIRM Forum.

The 2007 meeting is scheduled for April 25 in Bern, rather than during the fall when the group has traditionally met. The reason for the switch is so that risk managers who travel to Geneva for the Federation of European Risk Management Associations' September 30-October 3, 2007 conference won't have two gatherings to attend at around the same time.

The Bern meeting likely will be a one-day event, organizers said at the conclusion of this year's SIRM Forum held November 7-8 in Pfäffikon, Switzerland.
