BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Wemmer named CFO of Zurich Financial Services

ZURICH, Switzerland--Dieter Wemmer has been named chief financial officer of Zurich Financial Services A.G., effective March 1, 2007, as part of a corporate reshuffling of positions, the insurer said.

Mr. Wemmer, 49, who is now chief executive of Zurich Financial's European general insurance unit, will succeed Patrick O'Sullivan, 57, who has been named to the new post of chief growth officer.

Zurich Financial said the changes were triggered by the planned retirement of Chief Operating Officer Peter Eckert on Feb. 28, 2007. That post will not be filled for the foreseeable future, according to the company.
