RSA shareholders vote in favor of SEC deregister

LONDON—An extraordinary general meeting of shareholders of Royal & SunAlliance Insurance Group P.L.C. has voted to deregister the company from the United States' Securities and Exchange Commission.

Last month, London-based RSA said it was selling its remaining U.S. operations to Arrowpoint Capital, a vehicle set up by the management of RSA's U.S. operations, and planned to delist from the New York Stock Exchange and deregister from the SEC.At a meeting Thursday, shareholders unanimously voted to change the company's articles of association to enable it to end its registration with the SEC.
