SGI launches P/C data streamlining solution

ROCHESTER, New York—Electronic claims and underwriting solutions provider Scene Genesis Inc. has launched its SceneConnect Partner Program, which will make various partner's property/casualty insurance applications and data available to P/C companies through a single Web service.

Copart Auto Auctions, Carfax, Metro Reporting and Insurance Auto Auctions are the initial partners participating in the program.

Under the SceneConnect Partner Program, Rochester, New York-based SGI will create and maintain links between partners' applications and SceneConnect, with SceneConnect making all the data available from partners' applications to insurance companies' internal systems.

SGI said the system provides a simple two-way communication between insurance companies and their outside partners without the need for custom integrations.
