Carvill selects Q.Know as software provider

NEW YORK—Reinsurance intermediary R.K. Carvill (International Holdings) Ltd. has selected software from Q.Know Technologies Inc. as the foundation for its NIMBLE program, a technology initiative aimed at improving client service.

Hamilton, Bermuda-based Carvill will use Q.Know's "Information Desktop" to allow its reinsurance brokers in Bermuda, London and various U.S. locations to use a single interface to manage all electronic information, including e-mail, across the company. Using the system, Carvill brokers will be able to manage every electronic file type in a singular, customizable view.

New York-based Q.Know develops software aimed at filing, retrieving, managing and sharing electronic information on an enterprise-wide basis across various existing applications.
