Everest Re CFO to retire

HAMILTON, Bermuda--Everest Re Group Ltd. said its chief financial officer, Stephen L. Limauro, plans to retire at the end of the year.

"After thirty-three years of service, eight of which as chief financial officer, I am ready to throttle back and spend more time with my family pursuing various personal interests. It would still be my desire though to remain associated with Everest in a reduced capacity," Mr. Limauro said in a statement.

The Hamilton, Bermuda-based company said it has started an outside search for Mr. Limauro's replacement.
