BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

UNIONDALE, N.Y.—OnlineBenefits Inc. has made a series of podcasts created for employee benefit practitioners available to the public at the company's Web site.

The Uniondale, N.Y.-based company originally developed its Benefits Podcast series for exclusive distribution to its broker partners.

Since its introduction in January, the podcast series has included four podcasts: "Are Total Compensation Statements Dead?" "Don't Know Much about Consumer Driven Health Care?" "Broker Technology Myths" and "A Broker View on Managing Data and Commissions."

The human resources solutions company said it created the podcast series to spur dialogue among benefits brokers and those working in human resources on some of the key issues in the business.

The podcast approach lets those listening to the programs do so at their convenience, even while engaging in another activity such as their commute to or from the office or traveling on business.

Information about getting access to the company's Benefits Podcast series can be found at www.onlinebenefits.com, while industry experts interested in participating in future podcasts can contact OnlineBenefits at info@onlinebenefits.com.
