BI MAKES CHANGES TO STAFF

Business Insurance has made several changes in its editorial and sales staff.

Angie Aronson has joined the magazine as advertising sales assistant, Christopher Graff has joined as district sales manager, and Matthew T.C. Scroggins has been promoted to assistant copy editor.

Ms. Aronson, 22, joins the magazine following her recent graduation from the University of Minnesota at Duluth, with a bachelor of business administration in marketing.

In addition to assisting the Chicago sales staff, her responsibilities include order entry and trafficking.

Mr. Graff, 34, is based in the New York office, where he is responsible for new and existing accounts in most of New England and portions of New York and New Jersey.

Before joining BI, Mr. Graff worked in sales for Prime Health & Fitness, published by Weider Publications.

He graduated from the University of Maryland in College Park with a bachelor of arts degree in communications, psychology and sociology.

Mr. Scroggins, 24, moves to the copy desk in Chicago from the directory department, where he worked as assistant directory editor. He replaces Todd J. Behme, who was promoted to assistant managing editor.

Prior to joining BI in June 1997, Mr. Scroggins worked as an assistant in the human resources office of Crain Communications Inc., which publishes Business Insurance. Previously, he served as a part-time researcher for BI and sister publication Advertising Age.

He graduated summa cum laude from Millikin University in Decatur, Ill., with a bachelor of arts degree in philosophy.
