NAMIC CONVENTION DRAWS 2,000 ATTENDEES

ORLANDO, Fla. -- This year's 103rd annual convention of the National Assn. of Mutual Insurance Cos. drew approximately 2,000 attendees to Marriott's Orlando World Center Sept. 20-23.

During the convention, Robert E. H. Rabold, chairman, president and chief executive officer of Motorists Mutual-American Hardware Insurance Group, was elected NAMIC chairman for the coming year. He replaces outgoing Chairman Dwight Shore, manager of Marshall Mutual Insurance Co. in Marshall, Ill.

Next year's NAMIC convention is scheduled for Sept. 19-22 at the Marriott Rivercenter/Marriott Riverwalk Hotels in San Antonio.
