LONDON INAUGURATES AVIATION CONFERENCE

LONDON -- The first Global Aviation Insurance Conference was held June 25-26 at the Tower Thistle Hotel in London.

The conference, organized by IBC UK Conferences Ltd. of London, attracted 52 delegates from the United Kingdom, Western Europe, the United States, Canada, India, Israel, Russia, Ukraine and Slovenia.

Attendees included aviation insurers, brokers, lawyers, consultants and loss adjusters, as well as risk managers and directors of airline companies, airport operators and aerospace manufacturers.

IBC plans to make the conference an annual event but has not yet finalized arrangements for next year.
