ASHRM MEETING DRAWS 2,300 TO ATLANTA

ATLANTA-The American Society for Healthcare Risk Management attracted about 2,300 attendees to its annual conference last month in Atlanta.

Playing off the city's hosting of the 1996 Summer Olympics, the theme of the Oct. 26-29 conference was "Bringing Home the Gold: Risk Management Excellence."

Next year's ASHRM conference is scheduled for Oct. 4-7 at the San Diego Marriott Hotel & Marina in San Diego. The theme of the 1998 event will be "Ride the Waves of Technology."
