W. David Little has been named vp-risk management for Hilton Hotels Corp.

Mr. Little, 39, is responsible for overseeing all corporate risk management programs and strategies at the Beverly Hills, Calif.-based hotel chain. He previously worked as Hilton's director-risk management, a position he held for eight years until his recent promotion.

Mr. Little began his risk management career in 1983 as a consultant at Advanced Risk Management Techniques in Laguna Hills, Calif. He was risk manager for CalComp Inc. in Anaheim, Calif., from 1988 until joining Hilton Hotels in 1989.

Mr. Little reports to Robert LaForgia, senior vp and controller.

He graduated from the University of Georgia, where he earned a bachelor of business administration degree with a concentration in risk management and a master of business administration with an emphasis in finance.

Mr. Little holds the Associate in Risk Management designation.

Charlotte A. Sadtler has been promoted to assistant vp-liability and warranty at Rollins Inc. in Atlanta.

Ms. Sadtler previously was director of liability and warranty at Rollins, the parent company of subsidiaries that provide pest control, security services, lawn care and other services. Among her responsibilities in the newly created position are administration of general liability, automobile and warranty claims.

She reports to John Bultman, executive assistant.

Ms. Sadtler attended Valencia Community College in Orlando, Fla., and holds the Associate in Claims designation from the Insurance Institute of America.

She is second vp with the Atlanta Claims Assn., a member of the Atlanta Assn. of Insurance Professionals and the local chapter of the Risk & Insurance Management Society Inc.

Craig Bollinger has been named vp of risk management at Borg-Warner Security Corp. in Chicago.

In the newly created position, Mr. Bollinger, 39, is responsible for risk assessment, loss control, claims management and the negotiation and administration of insurance and risk retention programs.

He has worked at Borg-Warner for 12 years, most recently as director of risk management. He reports to Tim Wood, chief financial officer at the security services provider.

Mr. Bollinger has an accounting degree from Stockton State College in Pomona, N.J., and a master of business administration from Seton Hall University.

He holds the Associate in Risk Management designation.

Joel H. Rothwax has been appointed senior vp-human resources at Reliance Insurance Co. in Philadelphia.

Mr. Rothwax, 47, will assume responsibility for human resources at the insurer while continuing to serve as vp of human resources at Reliance's parent, Reliance Group Holdings Inc. in New York. He maintains offices in both cities.

Before joining Reliance Group Holdings in New York in 1994, Mr. Rothwax was vp of human resources at New York-based publisher MacMillan Inc.

He reports to Robert C. Olsman, president of Reliance Insurance Co.

Mr. Rothwax has a bachelor's degree in operations research from City College of New York, a master of business administration from George Washington University and a law degree from Brooklyn Law School.

He is a member of the Society for Human Resources Management and the International Assn. of Corporate & Professional Resources.
