Hospitality firms unite to seek COVID-19 BI payouts

U.K.-based Rare Restaurants Ltd., which owns M and Gaucho brand restaurants, has joined restaurant operator Black and White Hospitality in its fight to file COVID-19 related business interruption insurance claims with their insurer Tokio Marine Kiln Group Ltd., The Caterer reported. Black and White is preparing for an arbitration hearing with Tokio Marine, seeking BI payouts under policy terms that offer coverage for business closures ordered by a statutory body.
