Argo agrees to sell Brazilian unit for approximately $30 million

Bermuda-based insurer Argo Group International Holdings Ltd. has agreed to sell its Brazilian subsidiary Argo Seguros Brasil SA to Spice Private Equity Ltd. for 160 million Brazilian reais ($30.6 million), The Royal Gazette reported. The sale will enable Argo to focus on the U.S. specialty insurance risks.
