BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

A report by U.K.-based investment firm J.P. Morgan Cazenove Ltd. said that insurance-linked securities players have forced reinsurers to adjust their business models and focus more on securing underwriting deals and proportional treaty business, Artemis.bm reports. Reinsurers are likely to focus on opportunities in proportional reinsurance, tailored transactions and specialty markets while using ILS for hedging and retrocession.
