BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Reinsurer's reinsurance premiums more than double

Russian National Reinsurance Co.'s reinsurance premiums more than doubled to 6 billion Russian rubles ($90 million) in the first half, Xprimm.com reported. Total volume of earned reinsurance premiums amounted to RUB 4.7 billion. The reinsurer recorded RUB 3.6 billion in losses while net profit amounted to RUB 1.5 billion. Facultative reinsurance accounted for 62% of the reinsurer's portfolio.
