Insurance industry experts said that there has been an increase in the demand for political and terrorism risk covers from local and foreign businesses operating in Africa to protect their investments from associated losses, Xinhua reported. The experts said that more businesses are taking insurance even in periods when elections, which drive demand for the cover due to the increased risk of violence, are not being held.
