BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Probitas Syndicate 1492 to expand Latin American liability in 2016

Nick Bacon, chief distribution and operations officer of Probitas Syndicate 1492, has said that the syndicate will expand its liability product offering in Latin America in 2016, reported BNamericas.

Mr. Bacon said that Probitas will start to offer new liability products, such as professional indemnity and management liability in 2016.

Probitas, part of the Panamanian reinsurer Istmo Compania de Reaseguros Inc., began underwriting at Lloyd's of London in October with a strong focus on Latin America.
