BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Qatar Insurance establishes subsidiary in Malta to boost European operations

Qatar Insurance Co. S.A.Q. has established a fully owned subsidiary named QIC Europe Ltd. in Malta, with a view to strengthen its business in the European region, Zawya reported citing Gulf Times.

With this move, QIC aims to enhance its specialty and property/casualty insurance cover in the European Union and other non-E.U. jurisdictions on the continent. QEL will focus on underwriting general insurance risks in the European Economic Area. Standard & Poor's Corp. has assigned an "A" (stable) rating to QEL.
