BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Indiana drug formulary bill advances

A bill to adopt an Official Disability Guidelines workers compensation drug formulary has moved to the Indiana House of Representatives from the state Senate.

S.B. 369, authored by Republican state Sen. Randall Head, passed out of the Senate in a 42-6 vote on Feb. 6. The drug formulary would prohibit workers comp and occupational disease compensation reimbursement for drugs specified in the ODG. The bill requires the adoption of the formulary by Jan. 1, 2019, according to the bill’s latest text.

The bill had its first reading in the House and was referred to its Committee on Employment, Labor and Pensions on Monday.
