Corvus names former AIG exec as president

Corvus Insurance Holdings Ltd. said Tuesday it has named a former American International Group Inc. global chief underwriting officer, Madhu Tadikonda, as its first president.
Mr. Tadikonda was most recently co-founder of San Francisco-based Archipelago Analytics Holdings Inc., which uses artificial intelligence to digitize risk for large commercial property owners.
Before serving as chief underwriting officer at AIG, he was its chief data scientist, Corvus said in its statement.
In his new role, Mr. Tadikonda, who will be based in Boston, will collaborate with policyholders, brokers and reinsurers to deal with threats and cyber risks to business’ core digital assets and online operations, Corvus’ statement said.
Corvus said earlier this month it is partnering with SiriusPoint Ltd. to offer a cyber insurance program with up to $5 million in limits.
