AIG names former Axa XL exec financial institutions leader

American International Group Inc. has recruited Justin Gilmore from Axa XL to be head of financial institutions.
The appointment follows David Lynders move from head of financial institutions to senior ceded reinsurance officer for financial lines and credit lines, according to an AIG company memo.
Mr. Gilmore, who was senior vice president and Eastern regional head of professional underwriting at the Axa SA unit, will be responsible for all financial institutions product lines in North America, the memo said.
