Dual recruits from QBE, Allianz

Dual North America Inc. has recruited former QBE North America executive Russel Newman and former Allianz SE executive Rajiv Iyer to its North America leadership team.
As director of distribution for North America, Mr. Newman will manage all current distribution relationships and develop distribution methods, the Naples, Florida-based specialty program administrator said Monday. Mr. Newman will report to Brad Dame, chief commercial officer.
Seattle-based Mr. Newman most recently served as vice president and director of business development for QBE North America.
As director of capacity management, Mr. Iyer, based in Santa Rosa, California, will manage developing relationships with Dual’s existing insurer partners and source new capacity partners. He will report to Jim O’Connor, CEO Dual North America.
Mr. Iyer most recently served as global head of middle-market business and head of MidCorp casualty product team at Allianz.
Dual North America is part of Dual Group, the specialist underwriting arm of Howden Group Holdings Ltd.
