Acrisure Re hires Willis exec for new facultative unit

Acrisure Re, the reinsurance division of insurance broker Acrisure LLC, said Tuesday that it had launched an international facultative unit to be run by former Willis Towers Watson PLC executive Matthew Harvey.
Mr. Harvey, senior vice president, joined Acrisure Re on May 10. He will be based in London, and will report to Acrisure Re Group CEO Jason Howard.
He was most recently senior vice president, broker and producing broker for the international property team for Willis Towers Watson.
Mr. Howard said in a statement that international facultative is an area with significant opportunity for growth.
