BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.

To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.

To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.

Amy Barnes

Marsh LLC on Tuesday named energy insurance leader Amy Barnes to the newly created position of head of sustainability and climate change strategy.

Ms. Barnes, who has led Marsh JLT Specialty’s U.S. and Canada energy and power practice in Houston since 2019, will relocate to London for the position, which is effective April 1. She will report to Lucy Clarke, president of Marsh JLT Specialty and global placement, according to a Marsh statement.

In her new role, Ms. Barnes will lead Marsh’s strategy for developing climate and sustainability initiatives for its clients “particularly in relation to the impact of a changing physical risk landscape, improving access to capital for green initiatives, and a more thorough understanding of climate-related project risk,” the statement said.

Ms. Barnes, who has held several senior positions at Marsh in the United States and the United Kingdom, was one of the 2017 Business Insurance Women to Watch.
