BI’s Article search uses Boolean search capabilities. If you are not familiar with these principles, here are some quick tips.
To search specifically for more than one word, put the search term in quotation marks. For example, “workers compensation”. This will limit your search to that combination of words.
To search for a combination of terms, use quotations and the & symbol. For example, “hurricane” & “loss”.
Sandra Lee, head of Aon PLC’s transactions liability team in Asia, will join BMS Group Ltd. as head of its operations in Asia, subject to regulatory approvals, BMS said Tuesday.
Ms. Lee, who is currently based in Hong Kong, will join BMS upon completion of current contractual obligations, BMS said in a statement.
In the newly created role, Ms. Lee will develop BMS’s global mergers and acquisitions broking business and work closely with its new private equity, M&A and tax division in London, the company said.
“Asia is a crucial market and this appointment marks the beginning of a broader expansion plan in the region,” Nick Cook, CEO of BMS, said in the statement.
The latest departure of a senior Aon executive comes as the broker said it would end the 20% salary cut imposed on most staff due to COVID-19, but that the 50% salary cut for senior executives will remain in place.
Ms. Lee has led Aon’s transactions liability team in Asia since 2012. Prior to that she practiced as an M&A lawyer for various international firms.
Dan Schoenberg, another former senior transactions liability executive at Aon, recently joined Alliant Insurance Services Inc. as co-leader of its M&A practice.
