Aon names cyber, E&O leader

Aon PLC named Brent Rieth U.S. practice leader of its cyber solutions E&O/cyber broking team, the broker said in a statement Monday.
Christian Hoffman previously led the broking group as its president, according to a spokeswoman. Mr. Hoffman remains with Aon as CEO of Cyber Solutions North America, according to a spokeswoman.
Mr. Rieth, who is based in Chicago and started in his position Friday, will work with Aon’s commercial risk and U.S. broking units to support the broker’s clients.
Mr. Rieth, who has been with Aon for 10 years, had led its E&O/cyber broking for multinational clients, according to Aon’s statement.
