CNA appoints executives

CNA Financial Corp. on Wednesday said Mark James has been named the insurer’s chief risk and reinsurance officer.
He assumes leadership for CNA’s enterprise risk management function and continues to lead the insurer’s global reinsurance team, according to the announcement.
Al Miralles, who served as CNA’s chief risk officer since 2017, has been appointed president of CNA Warranty, and will continue to provide strategic oversight for long-term care, said the statement.
Brian Loebach, who has led the warranty unit for the last 10 years, will retire at year end after 40 years of service, CNA said.
