Lockton announces broking appointments for new office

Lockton Cos. LLC has added five senior broking personnel in newly created positions to anchor its new Pittsburgh office, the company said in a statement Thursday.

Michael Brodzinski was named senior vice president and market leader and will lead the development and expansion of Lockton's new Pittsburgh office. He was most recently senior vice president at Aon PLC in Pittsburgh.

Mark Weber was named vice president and will work on human capital goals. He was most recently vice president, employee benefits consulting, with Alliant Insurance Services Inc. in Pittsburgh.

Rich McElhaney was named loss control consultant at Lockton and will enhance the employee safety programs of Lockton clients. He was most recently vice president of safety and risk management at Allied Insurance Brokers Inc. in Pittsburgh.

Tony DeRiggi has been named senior vice president and will consult with clients on complex risk solutions, the statement said. He was most recently area vice president for Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. in Pittsburgh.

Taylor Troiano was named senior vice president and will mitigate risk and navigate the complicated health care environment, the statement said. He was most recently executive producer for Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. in Pittsburgh.

"We have been looking to join the Pittsburgh community for some time, but we wanted to make sure we had a strong leader and industry experts to lead the charge," Kevin McDaniel, president of expansion for Lockton Midwest, said in the statement.

“Mike is the right person to lead our expansion into this market. He, along with Mark, Rich, Tony and Taylor, will help us build a strong team in Pittsburgh to deliver on Lockton's client-focused service model,” Mr. McDaniel added.
