Tokio Marine Kiln appoints head of reinsurance

Tokio Marine Kiln Group Ltd. named Will Curran to be head of reinsurance, effective April 1, the company said in a statement Wednesday.
He will be based in London, according to a spokesman for the company, and succeeds David Huckstepp, who is leaving on a “planned break from the sector,” the statement said.
Mr. Curran joined Tokio Marine in 2008 and has been the deputy underwriter of reinsurance since, the statement said.
“Will has had an impressive career and his 11 years here at TMK make him a worthy successor to David, who leaves with our best wishes,” Charles Franks, CEO of TMK, said in the statement.
