Sompo offers pay equity audits to policyholders

Bermuda-based Sompo International Holdings Ltd. said Monday it will offer pay equity audit services to employment practices liability insurance policyholders in the United States via Boston-based consulting firm Charles River Associates Inc.
Available at a discounted rate to Sompo International policyholders, the service includes a wage gap analysis by race/ethnicity and company-specific gender accounting, the company said in a statement.
Policyholders will be able to “proactively identify exposures resulting from wage gaps in their workforce,” said Fred Cooper, executive vice president, commercial management liability at Sompo International in New York, in the statement.
