AssuredPartners names EVP of operations

AssuredPartners Inc., based in Lake Mary, Florida, said Wednesday that Joe Guercio has been promoted to the new position of executive vice president of operations as the brokerage continues to restructure its management.
Mr. Guercio, who is based in Tampa, Florida, previously was vice president of operations, AssuredPartners said in a statement.
Mr. Guercio and his team have worked on 60 AssuredPartners acquisitions since he joined the brokerage in 2016, and he helped develop the brokerage’s premium financing program, the brokerage said in the statement.
This promotion is the latest in a series of management changes by AssuredPartners. In April, the brokerage announced it was setting up a new management structure and promoted Gerald Budde to Eastern regions chief financial officer and Lisa Kammerer to Western regions CFO.
Steve Deal has been named president of Eastern regions and Randy Larsen has been named president of Western regions as part of the new management structure.
AssuredPartners, an acquisitive, private equity-backed brokerage, is the 13th-largest broker of U.S. business, according to Business Insurance’s latest ranking.
