Lockton appoints digital executive

Lockton Cos. L.L.C. said Monday it had named insurance industry veteran Said Taiym as executive vice president-chief digital officer.
In this new role, Mr. Taiym will report to Ron Lockton, president and CEO, the Kansas City, Missouri-based broker said in a statement. Mr. Taiym was most recently senior vice president and chief information officer for the AF Group, Lockton said, and has previously worked for XL Group and Zurich North America. Mr. Taiym will be based in Kansas City, Missouri.

Said has a unique combination of expertise in business, insurance and digital,” Mr. Lockton said in a statement. “Not only will Said help us improve Lockton’s business, but he will also help lead change in our industry to deliver a better overall customer experience.”
